She began her career with eight years at General Mills, where she built brands such as Cheerios and Nature Valley while supporting retailers like Walmart and Kroger. Katie spent three years as the owner and primary consultant at The Fuhrm Marketing Solutions, an integrated marketing communications and shopper marketing consultancy serving the consumer packaged goods industry.
Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with her husband and two kids, running outside, and keeping up with the latest TED Talks on human behavior.

She started her career at Colgate Palmolive in her home country of Colombia, then relocated to Minnesota with her American husband. She also spent three years in the jewelry and graduation product departments at Jostens, where she worked with a large partner network.
Beyond her professional life, Claudia is an entrepreneur. She, along with her husband and two sons, own and operate Ommie Snacks, a local specialty foods business.
